DAY 1: Lao Cai train station – Sapa (1600m) to the camp 2800m (B/L/D)
10h00 am: Our trip to the roof of Viet Nam and Indochina – Fanxipan peak we’ll start by a 10 km drive by car until we Xin Chai village of black H’mong tribe, located at 1450m above the sea level. We will visit village before reaching the pass. Spend your time enjoying marvelous nature and then start the strenuous trek to the peak.
After roughly 5 and haft hours through the rain jungles, small treams and bamboo forest, you will prepare a camp point of 2800m, at this place we’ll set our tents. The guide will prepare the dinner and we’ll spend there our first night on the mountain.
DAY 2: Camp – summit of Fanxipan (3.143m) - Camp (B, L,D)
7h00 am: After having a breakfast at the camp we’ll continue climbing to the summit, crossing pine and yellow bamboo forest. After 5 hours trek, we’ll successfully conquer the roof of Vietnam. We’ll spend some time on the top, enjoying the landscapes at this majestic highest point in Vietnam.
From the top you can clearly see the surroundings: to the North – West ther are small villages of Lai Chau province and splendid rolling mountains; to the North – East is the overall picture of Sapa town which is only seen from this point. Afterwards we’ll have lunch and then return down to the camp (2800m) for 2nd night on the mountain. We’ll have dinner at the camp.
DAY 3: From the camp (2800m) back to Sapa (B,L)
After breakfast at the Mountain, we’ll take a different way to go down to the foot of Fanxipan. On the way we’ll enjoy pleasant natural landscapes and discover the life of hill trip people of the mountainous area. On the way back to Sapa we’ll visit Silver waterfall by the way return to Sapa via highest pass of Vietnam called Tram Ton.
At the end of the trip, our van will pick you up back to Sapa. Refresh at Chaulong Sapa and free time for exploring Sapa town. Late of the day, transfer back to Lao Cai for taking an overnight train back to Ha Noi.
