Ha Long Bay (Vietnamese: Vịnh Hạ Long, literally: "descending dragon bay") is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a popular travel destination, located in Quang Ninh province, Vietnam. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes. Ha Long Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bái Tử Long bay to the northeast, and Cát Bà islands to the southwest. These larger zones share similar geological, geographical, geomorphological, climate, and cultural characters.halong bay vietnam tours vietnam cheap tours

Day trip: Hanoi – Halong (-/L/-)
In the morning:
7:30- 8:30 a.m: Pick you up at the hotel and leave for Halong Bay. Short break en route in Hai Duong Province (20mins). Arrive in Halong Bay around 12:00. Get on a traditional wooden junk boat.
In the afternoon:
12.30 p.m: Lunch with fresh seafood is served (vegetarian and kids menus available). We are slowly getting off the classic cruising routes, keep admiring the amazing kasts with different formations on the way. Limestone rock formations will parade around us for about 2 hours before our first stop.
Cruise around Halong Bay, and take photos. On the way, witness the beauty of Dinh Huong Island (incense burner), Cho Da Island (stone dog), and Ga Choi Island (fighting cocks). You will enjoy sunbathing and the magnificent scenery of Halong Bay.
2.30 p.m: Cruise to visit Thien Cung and Dau Go caves, and a fishing-farm located on the bay. Walk up about 60 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat.
Thien Cung Cave or the Cave of Heavenly Palace is on the same island with Dau Go Cave. While Dau Go Cave boasts the mossy beauty and glorious history, Thien Cung Cave makes the visitors the impression of being in a heavenly world.
4.30 p.m: At the end of the day, cruise back to the harbor and take a bus back to Hanoi and drop off at your hotel.
Note:
Tides and weather conditions may alter the times of meals and other activities.
In line with our responsible vision of tourism, please note that we do not include the most popular caves of the bay in our program. We consider that they are an insult to heritage preservation.
On the way to Halong and back to Hanoi, we will stop at a place with food, beverages and souvenirs for sale. This is not to trick you and that will be the only times of the whole trip you may feel in the tourism mass. But that is the only place on the way, where you, your driver and your guide can use clean toilets without being forced to buy anything. Thanks for your understanding.
